Why We Exist.

Because somewhere right now a child is sitting alone in a room full of people.

And someone near them has the choice to change that.

Close The Space Foundation exists because of something simple and true:

Kindness costs nothing.
Compassion is a choice.
Forgiveness is strength.

And yet somehow, along the way,
those things became harder.

Children are being left out quietly, consistently,
and often without anyone naming it for what it is.

Relational bullying.
Social bullying.
Exclusion based bullying.

It does not always look like a shove or a shout.
Sometimes it looks like a circle that never opens.
A lunch table with one empty seat.
A group chat everyone is in except one person.

It looks like a child sitting right next to people
and feeling a million miles away.

We exist to change that.

Not through punishment.
Not through programs that only tell kids what not to do.

But by teaching children that every single day,
they have a choice.

And by giving them the courage to choose
to close the space.

What We Believe

Kindness is a choice anyone can make,
at any age, in any hallway, on any day.

Compassion means trying to understand
someone before you judge them.

Before judging someone else,
look in the mirror first.

Forgiveness is not weakness.
It is one of the strongest things a person can do.

Social exclusion is bullying,
even when no one raises their voice.

No child should be defined forever
by a single mistake.

No child should have to earn the right to belong.

Every day is a new chance
to choose differently.

What We Do

We educate parents to recognize bullying, especially relational exclusion and social bullying, in their child’s life.

We give kids honest tools to choose kindness, compassion, and forgiveness in everyday situations.

We recognize Close the Space Heroes, young people who choose to include, forgive, and close the space even when it is hard.

We fund the Close the Space Scholarship, which sends youth who are bullied and isolated to camps and leadership programs where they can start fresh, build real connections, and discover who they are beyond the isolation, distance, and exclusion they have carried for too long.

Close The Space Foundation does not investigate bullying reports and is not a reporting body or crisis intervention service.

If your child is in immediate danger, please contact your school administration or local authorities.

Our work is focused on education, awareness, and positive action.

Every day you get to choose.
Choose to close the space.
